Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions.
- A “Skip to content” link and full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface colours chosen to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- Text alternatives for meaningful illustrations; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Support for the “reduce motion” system setting: animations are switched off when requested.
- Responsive layouts that work from 320px wide phones to large desktops and support browser zoom up to 400%.
- A countdown that updates screen readers at most once an hour instead of every second.
Known limitations
Some linked third-party websites may not meet the same standards. The comparison table scrolls horizontally on small screens; it is keyboard-focusable so it can be scrolled with arrow keys.
